America’s Top Wealth Advisors
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 24, 2017 – It is with great pleasure that we announce that Deb Wetherby continues to be featured as a top advisor by Forbes, this time ranking at #85 on the America’s Top Wealth Advisors list. This list commemorates 250 of the nation’s best advisors, based on criteria such as quality of practice, client retention, industry experience, compliance, assets under management and revenue.
This year’s ranking, developed in partnership with Shook Research, conducted an in-depth evaluation of 4,504 advisors, of which only 5.5% were recognized in the final list. This final selection of advisors collectively manages an impressive $672 billion, having earned the trust to steward the assets of the nation’s wealthiest business owners, families and individuals.
Deb Wetherby represents one of the few independent wealth advisory firms on the list. She founded Wetherby Asset Management in 1990 to serve clients with objectivity, integrity and thoughtfulness – helping to pioneer the registered investment advisory model and help build an industry that puts client interests first. Her values have resonated with many, and the firm has experienced significant organic growth since its inception. Today, Wetherby Asset Management proudly manages over $4.5 billion in assets under management.
Passionate about both investing and serving clients, Deb is integrally involved in the firm’s investment process as well as working on investment and planning issues for some of the firm’s more complex clients. Deb is actively involved in building the field, and has spoken on topics ranging from graduate-level finance courses to the collective power of women helping women. Outside of the office, Deb serves on the board for the Marin Community Foundation and BRAC USA, as well as serving on the Advisory Board for the Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership at the Haas School at UC Berkeley.
Deb Wetherby was also recognized on this list in 2016.
