We are proud to congratulate Lauren Wood, CFA, CFP®, Wealth Manager and Shareholder, for her recognition as one of Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors in California. This is the seventh edition of Forbes’ rankings and we are pleased to see Lauren included in such an impressive group.
A host of research, including recent studies by Wells Fargo1 and Vanguard2, show that gender diversity can directly impact investment returns. In addition, we know that having a more diverse team of advisors, including gender, allows us to better serve our clients.
Our Wetherby team is currently 57% women, and we remain committed to advancing gender equity in the field of financial advising and wealth management. As part of this commitment, our firm has a formal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee in place to support a truly inclusive culture and drive diversity innovation in our industry. We also include DEI considerations, including gender equity, as part of our standard due diligence for all investments.
